# 2025-09 Google Data Center Water-Use Registration
On 2025-09-29, [[Tyson Schlect]] of [[INFRA science & engineering]] filed water-use registration forms with the Arkansas Department of Agriculture to re-assign two existing Crittenden County wells to the **"Google Data Center"** at Proctor — the Project Pyramid site on Bollinger Road, West Memphis. The same day, the Department's [[Katie Hartter]] confirmed the registration and assigned Facility ID 900055.

## What happened
Schlect transmitted *"two Water Use Registration forms to re-assign two wells"* — the Central Well Bollinger and the NW Well Galet — *"On behalf of Project Pyramid in Proctor,"* citing *"near term construction activities."* [[Katie Hartter]] replied that the registration for the *"Google Data Center in Proctor AR"* would be complete on receipt of the $20 fee, and assigned Facility ID 900055 with two measurement-point IDs. The fee was paid by check no. 1831 (`ck 1831 900055_Redacted.pdf`).
## Significance
This is the first government record in the investigation's corpus to name **Google** as the entity behind the Bollinger Road / Project Pyramid site. The Crittenden County Assessor production established the land assembly ([[GROOT LLC]] to the [[City of West Memphis]]) without naming Google; this Department of Agriculture record names the "Google Data Center" operating wells on that same site. The registration also shows the data center repurposing two existing alluvial-aquifer wells — drilled in 2012 and 2016, during the [[Bollinger Bros Inc]] agricultural ownership — rather than drilling new ones.
